Copywriting

Dennis was a copywriter at Burch & Co. and KSV Communicators, working on print and outdoor campaigns. His main clients were Cellular One and Creative Sound. For two non-profits, the Earth Peace Film Festival in Vermont and the National MS Society Vermont Chapter, he created press releases, volunteer recruitment posters, and PSA radio spots for their events. He was a freelance writer for two years at the Champlain Business Journal, covering new businesses and features. He was also a monthly humor columnist for the New England Auto Dealers Monthly, telling quirky car tales. He has a state certified business called Words Worth Ink, under which he offers his copywriting services.

Editing

As an editor/writer for the New York City Board of Education, he wrote and edited seven in-house special education handbooks and activity guides, distributed to teaching staff in all five boroughs.
